Seated Workout: Arms & Legs

Short on time? This efficient 15-minute workout strengthens your arms and legs while engaging your core throughout each movement to help improve posture, balance, and everyday function. The exercises are designed to build strength for real-life activities like carrying groceries, climbing stairs, getting up from a chair, and maintaining stability while walking.

You'll need a pair of light hand weights and a small exercise ball. Don't have exercise equipment? No problem! Water bottles or cans of soup or vegetables work well instead of weights, and you can substitute a roll of toilet paper, a yoga block, or a small cushion for the ball.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to add a quick strength session to your day, this workout is an easy way to stay active and keep your whole body moving.
