Small Steps Today for a Healthier, More Active Tomorrow

Aging is inevitable, but losing your strength, mobility, and independence doesn't have to be!

At ProActive Therapy & Wellness, we believe that staying active and independent starts with understanding your body and knowing what you can do to keep it working well.

That's why we're introducing our Healthy Aging Workshop Series — a monthly opportunity to learn practical strategies for improving your health, maintaining your mobility, and continuing to enjoy the activities that matter most to you.

Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of healthy aging, from balance and fall prevention to strength, flexibility, walking, and managing common conditions that can affect your daily life.

These aren't just lectures! You'll have opportunities to ask questions, see demonstrations, and learn simple techniques and exercises you can put into practice right away.

Whether you're already active and want to stay that way, or you've noticed some changes in your strength, balance, or confidence, there's something here for you.

Join Us Each Month!

When: Second Wednesday of every month at 2:00 PM

Starting: January 2027

What Can You Expect?

Our workshops are designed to be informative, interactive, and welcoming, regardless of your current fitness level or experience.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn: Better understand the changes that happen as we age and what you can do about them.

  • Practice: Try practical exercises, movement strategies, and techniques to help you move more confidently.

  • Ask Questions: Get answers from a physical therapist who specializes in working with older adults.

  • Take Action: Leave with ideas and tools you can use in your everyday life.

Most importantly, you'll learn that there's often more you can do to improve your health and mobility than you might realize!

Who Should Attend?

These workshops are especially helpful for adults who want to:

  • Maintain their strength, balance, and flexibility.

  • Reduce their risk of falls and injuries.

  • Feel more confident walking and moving around.

  • Manage age-related changes in mobility.

  • Continue enjoying hobbies, travel, exercise, and everyday activities.

  • Take a proactive approach to their health rather than waiting for problems to develop.

You don't have to be experiencing difficulties to benefit. In fact, learning how to prevent problems before they start is one of the best reasons to attend!
