Educational Workshops
Learn — Move Better — Live With Confidence
Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for maintaining health and independence.
At ProActive Therapy and Wellness, our workshops are designed to give you practical information and hands-on skills that you can immediately apply to your daily life. Whether you're looking to improve your balance, better understand neuropathy, manage Parkinson's disease, or explore new approaches to pain relief, our workshops provide evidence-based education in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Unlike traditional lectures, our workshops combine education with demonstrations, movement practice, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You'll leave with a better understanding of your body—and practical strategies you can begin using right away.
Why Attend a Workshop?
Our workshops are designed to help you:
Better understand common health conditions and why symptoms occur
Learn practical techniques you can safely use at home
Improve confidence with everyday movement
Discover evidence-based, non-invasive treatment options
Ask questions in a relaxed, small-group setting
Gain the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about your health
Whether you're looking to stay active, recover from an injury, or simply age well, our goal is to provide education that empowers you to take an active role in your health.

What Makes Our Workshops Different?
Every workshop is led by Michele Walker, PT, a licensed physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience helping older adults improve mobility, reduce injury risk, and remain independent.
Rather than simply presenting information, Michele focuses on helping participants understand why problems occur and what they can do to improve them. Workshops include practical demonstrations, real-life examples, and actionable strategies that participants can immediately begin using.
Because class sizes are intentionally kept small, participants receive individual attention and have plenty of time to ask questions.
Education That Leads To Action
Our mission is simple: help you understand your body, move with greater confidence, and stay active doing the things you love.
Whether you attend one workshop or several, you'll leave with practical knowledge you can use for years to come.
Educational Disclaimer: Workshops are intended for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider regarding your specific medical condition before beginning a new exercise or treatment program.
