Using PWR!Moves to Stand Up Easier

Standing up from a chair takes a combination of strength, flexibility, and balance. Doing the PWR!Moves in the sitting and standing positions helps improve all of those things. The next step would be to do this exercise where you actually move from sitting to standing, then return to sitting in a controlled fashion. Being able to do that without relying heavily on your arms is a great skill to have and has been found to be associated with less falls.
